Where the name comes from. A walking journey in design for 2027.
Above the Selva de Oza there is a flat glacial valley two kilometres long, called Aguas Tuertas, where the river runs in loops because nobody told it to hurry. Cattle graze in it all summer. There are stones somebody set down five thousand years ago.
Keep climbing and you reach the ibón de Estanés. No road goes there. There is no car park and no other way in: you walk, or you do not arrive. What you find at the top is a sheet of water that does not move.
This is the country we know best and the place the name comes from. We are designing a journey through it for 2027, with the same house around it: the same table, the same physiotherapist, the same ceiling on numbers.
What we are not going to tell you yet
How many days it lasts, what it costs, or when exactly it leaves. We do not know yet, and we are not going to make it up. When it is real, it will be published like everything else here: with the distances, the nights and the price.
